Radars

The notion of ship borne (air search) radar will be standardized in Atlantic Air Combat™.  Data partly rests on what was retrieved on the matter (see : Radar-Notes) without sticking to it as the matter has been further refined - See the Radar main page

There will be 3 types of radars associated with the different (target) ships involved, each with its own set of detection ranges.
There will be 2 levels of competence : these radars either direct guns/SAM fire or they don't, impacting on accuracy.
Ships equipped with SAM missiles naturally direct these beam-reader weapons to target (with a yet to be determined level of accuracy)
The minimum detection altitude is common to all : 200 ft (61 m).
