Civilian and (unarmed)
military transport wil be used along combat aircrafts for ferry flights from one game spot to the other.
While aracade players might prefer to skip these non combat flights, the purpose of this aspect of Atlantic Air Combat™
is to satisfy the simulation lovers who enjoy the flight more than the fight. Actually, it's an essential
part of the "free flight" mode in the game.
Various fantasy operators
will be imagined to cover the Atlantic, from the North to the South with an addition from more distant shores to cover
non typical aircrafts (heavy flying boats inspired but not necessarily copied by those the Australian ANSETT operated
In order to do that, several
historical airlines are reviewed as sources of inspiration (see table below), although the number of "AAC
