Selected serials assembled to examine which sub-types of the Corsair were
transferred post war. Several airframes sold to either Honduras or Argentina are usually referred to as
F4U-5N while, according to some other data source the said airframes belong to a F4U-5P group. For a closer view
on this subject, see "13.300.Target.Air_Industrial.USN_F4U.Serials.doc"

Having said that, only the French and Argentinian F4U are of interest within AAC, with the latter actually being the
original cause of the presence of WWII aircrafts in the game. Thus data regarding aircrafts operated by
Honduras and El Salvador, however fascinating, have little relevance.
The individual story of the 94 French F4U-7 airframes isn't known, hence a relative silent table. It is understood
the Corsairs were operated for the last time aboard R95 Arromanches in 1963, with the type withdrawn from use in
May 1964, although some airframes seem to have remained airworthy until 1966.
