2012.10.08 2014.04.14

Temporary file - will be further upated as the various chapters are developped.  Chapter numbers have no specific meaning.  As this part of AAC is further developped, if a given part has already been published, it should keep its name/link.  For example, "Ch.03 Landing Gear" was never published and has been cancelled as a separate item

The various buttons shown below are, at the moment, based on the design of the PlayStation®2 controller by Sony®.   While each single button may have a specific function, various actions are called by a combination of buttons being activated in different manners.   One of the following action combinations may be used :

Buttons  depressed singly

Buttons depressed repeatedly (here:twice)

Buttons depressed once simultaneously

Buttons depressed simultaneously repeatedly (here:twice)

Permanent depression possible (for continuous action)

Buttons depressed simultaneously successively (here:twice)

Depression required during ... seconds before action

Joysticks may be pushed around in combined movments

Combined buttons depressed permanently

Both joysticks may be depressed - then shown as

Combined buttons depressed during ... seconds before action
Most often an action is reversed by acting the same button (eg: landing gear up or down).  Finally, a (situational) prerequisite is required for a given function to be available (eg: to fold wings the aircraft must on land)  These constraints are referred to in the associated notes in the Sub-chapters
