FORWARD FIRING GUNS EFFICIENCY  -  NON-COMPARATIVE TABLE

Most combat aircrafts are equipped with internal guns.  There may be up to two different gun types aboard a given aircraft and these may be used separately, together or combined with externally carried gun pods, with the latter available separately from internal guns.  Thus, either carried internally or externally, AAC™ aircrafts may be equipped with up to 3 different gun packs or sets of guns.  The below TABLE aims at detailing the equipment of aircrafts concerned, and provides information on the relative destructive power these installations represent.  Table Headings are as follows :
Gun-1 : gun type 1 and their number - internal guns
Gun-2 : gun type 2 and their number - internal guns (exception : one aircraft may carry two different types of gun pods)
G/Pod : gun type 3 and their number - gun pods only
Guns RPM : total numbers of rounds fired per mintute (by all guns involved in the guns set)
Mass Bullet : total mass of bullets (or shells) fired by the gun set : expressed in kilo/second
Mass HEI : total mass of explosive material fired by the gun set : express in kilo/second
RPG : rounds per gun - quantity of ammunitions available with each gun
Fire time : total firing time available - in seconds
[RPM] : combined number of rounds fired per minute - either internal guns type 1 + 2 (T1*)  or  all internal guns + gun pods (T2*)
[Mass Bullet] : combined mass of rounds
[Mass HEI] : combined mass of explosive
Note-1 : combining gun sets 1+3 or gun sets 2+3 is possible - the resulting values are not shown
Note-2 : nose turrets on vintage bombers are locked in forward firing position in AAC and are thus assimilated to forward firing guns
