INTRODUCTION

The Avro A694 Lincoln was a piston engined bomber which evolved from the A683 Lancaster, a British heavy bomber made ignominiously famous during WWII by the RAF.  As a post-war design, it also saw service with Argentina and Australia who manufactured their aircraft locally under licence.  More would be found with AAC™ on the WWII_A683_Lancaster (vintage) page, and on the RAF Squadrons pages, but in brief :

The LincolnStar  in Atlantic Air Combat™

The presence in AAC™ of a design mimicking the Avro Lincoln  is due it its late use by Argentina, along a full squadron of Avro Lancaster, not forgetting the use of another Lancaster ASW derivative, the A696 Shackleton, by both the Royal and the South African Air forces.

All AAC variants have similar performances, share the same bomb bay and therefore do not respect all original details.  The aircraft will be available with most of their their historical post-war operators.
